Olivia Ramirez

Biography

I am a native Austinite and graduated undergraduate and law school from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas (Guns up!). I am a newly-licensed attorney and recently started as an Associate Attorney with the Marc Chavez Law Firm in May of 2025. My passion for criminal defense began after listening to my grandfather tell stories of his criminal defense practice when I was growing up, and my experience in criminal law stems all the way back from my first criminal legal internship in the summer of 2022.

While in law school, I had the rewarding opportunity to fight for indigent clients in the Lubbock community facing criminal legal troubles through Texas Tech Law’s Criminal Defense Clinic. After recently obtaining my law license, I’ve now been able to serve residents in Austin and surrounding counties facing misdemeanor charges all the way up to capital murder charges through this amazing firm. I am dedicated to zealously advocating for the firm’s clients and getting the best resolution possible for each and every case. I knew from a young age that I wanted to help people in my career, and I am incredibly fortunate to be able to do so in a legal capacity. Criminal troubles are not easy to handle, which is why our firm is here to fight tooth and nail for your freedom, rights, and a second chance at success in the community.

In my free time, I love to travel, cook and try new cuisines, spend time with my family and friends, and take my sweet puppy on long walks!
